Andover's 2026 Christmas markets: the Hawk Conservancy 26 to 29 November, the Chantry Centre 5 December, Young Traders 6 December, Second Sundays 13th.

Andover does not have one big Christmas market; it has a run of smaller ones. Five are confirmed for 2026, starting with the market on the High Street at the Christmas Festival on Friday 20 November and the biggest single event, the Hawk Conservancy Trust’s Christmas Market from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 November, with more than 80 local stallholders.

The Hawk Conservancy Christmas Market

The Hawk Conservancy Trust’s market is the one to plan a trip around. It runs from 3.30pm to 7.30pm on Thursday 26, Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November, and 11am to 3pm on Sunday 29 November. The Trust says more than 80 local businesses are taking part, selling personalised presents, decorations and food, with barbecue, bratwurst, tartiflette, churros, pancakes, festive hot chocolate, mulled wine and cider.

What to know before you go:

  • Tickets are £3.50 online or £4 on the door, and they do not include the park or the flying displays.
  • Parking is free on site, and the Trust asks groups to car share because it gets busy.
  • Some stallholders take cards only, and there is no cash machine.
  • It is held outdoors in all weathers unless conditions are dangerous. From noon on the day, a recorded message on 01264 772252 confirms whether it is going ahead.

In the town centre

  • The Christmas Festival, Friday 20 November, 4pm to 8pm. Last year the festival market ran along Bridge Street. Everything confirmed so far, and what is still to come, is on our Christmas lights switch-on page.
  • Chantry Centre indoor market, Saturday 5 December, 9.30am to 4pm, in the central area of the shopping centre near Holland & Barrett and Waterstones.
  • Young Traders Market, Sunday 6 December, 10.30am to 3pm. Stalls are run by traders aged 11 to 25; pitches are free and applications are open on the council’s calendar page.
  • Second Sundays, Sunday 13 December, 10am to 3pm. Andover’s monthly market of independent makers, street food, artists and vintage sellers, with free workshops.

There are also indoor markets at the Chantry Centre on Saturday 7 November and a Second Sundays on 8 November, if you like to start your shopping early.

What ran last year but has no 2026 date yet

Test Valley’s Christmas in Andover round-up for 2025 listed three things not yet in the 2026 calendar:

  • A Christmas Fair at Andover Museum, on 22 November 2025.
  • Festive indoor markets at the Chantry Centre every Saturday from 29 November to 20 December 2025. So far only the 5 December 2026 date is listed.
  • Carols around the Christmas tree on the High Street, on 12 December 2025.

Still to be confirmed

  • Andover Museum’s 2026 Christmas fair and any extra Saturday markets in the Chantry Centre. The council published last year’s programme on 13 November.
