For Christmas Day in Andover, the lowest published prices are at the Anton Arms on Salisbury Road and the Chestnut Tree on Weyhill Road (£51.99 each), with the Folly at £57.99. For a country inn, the Hawk Inn at Amport is £115, the White Hart in Stockbridge £105 and the Peat Spade at Longstock £135. Every entry was checked against the venue’s own site on 2 November 2026.

We have not eaten at any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Two dates come round soon: the White Horse in Romsey wants full payment by 20 November, and the Hawk and the Peat Spade by 25 November.

1. The Anton Arms, Salisbury Road

The Anton Arms is the Greene King pub on Salisbury Road, on the south-west side of the town centre. Its Christmas Day page prices the day at £51.99, which the menu sets out as three courses with a mince pie petit four to finish; the menu includes a smoked salmon and king prawn cocktail and a hand-carved turkey dinner.

The children’s Christmas Day menu is £25.99 for three courses. A £10 deposit a head, adults and children alike, holds the table, and the booking terms set a full payment deadline of 1 December 2026.

2. The Chestnut Tree, Weyhill Road

The Chestnut Tree on Weyhill Road is another Greene King pub, on the west side of town. Its Christmas Day page carries the same offer as the Anton Arms: £51.99 for the Christmas Day menu, with the mince pie petit four, and £25.99 for three children’s courses.

The deposit is £10 a head for adults and children. Menu pre-orders opened on 21 October, and the terms ask for full payment by 1 December 2026, or at the time of booking after that.

3. The Folly, Charlton Road

The Folly is the Hungry Horse pub on Charlton Road. Its Christmas Day page prices three courses at £57.99 for adults and £22.99 for children, the lowest children’s price on this list.

Mains include a hand-carved turkey dinner, and there is a menu without gluten-containing ingredients. The deposit is £10 a head for adults and £5 for children.

Full payment and menu choices are due by 18 December 2026; after that, payment is taken when you book.

The Hawk Inn is an Upham Inns pub with rooms in Amport, west of Andover. Its Christmas page offers a five-course Christmas Day menu with a glass of fizz on arrival for £115 a person, served on 25 December only.

The White Hart is the Fuller’s pub and hotel on Stockbridge High Street, in a listed building. Its Christmas Day menu is £105 a person and starts with a glass of English sparkling wine and canapés; the children’s Christmas Day menu is £52.50.

For December gatherings, the Christmas dining menu is £35.95 for two courses or £39.95 for three. The pub’s page lists a Boxing Day menu as well.

7. The Peat Spade Inn, Longstock

8. The Cromwell Arms, Mainstone

The Cromwell Arms is the Fuller’s pub and hotel on Mainstone, on the southern edge of Romsey. Its Christmas Day menu is £110 a person and starts with a glass of English sparkling wine; the children’s Christmas Day menu is £55.

10. The Duke on the Test, Greatbridge Road

The Duke on the Test is the pub on Greatbridge Road, by the river north of Romsey. Its 2026 Christmas Day menu is £139.95, the highest price on this list, with an amuse bouche, starters such as pan-fried Orkney scallops, and mains including turkey breast with stuffed leg, venison Wellington and dry-aged beef fillet.

13. The Greyhound on the Test, Stockbridge

The Greyhound on the Test, a restaurant with rooms on Stockbridge High Street, serves its festive set menu every day from 27 November to 23 December 2026 at £55 for three courses, with roast Hampshire turkey among the mains. The menu must be booked in advance with a 50% non-refundable deposit.

The Greyhound also runs a festive brunch on 24 and 31 December and 1 January, and a New Year’s Eve steak supper at £69.
