Pumpkin carving, Halloween stories and games at Harmony Woods on Fri 30 Oct, 10.30am to 12.30pm. £10 a child with an adult, pumpkin included. Ages 4+.

Families can carve a pumpkin in the woods on the last Friday of half term. The Andover charity Andover Trees United is holding Awesome Autumn at Harmony Woods on Friday 30 October 2026, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, meeting at The Cabin.

The morning starts with interactive seasonal storytelling from Amanda Kane-Smith of Merry-Go-Round Storytelling, followed by pumpkin carving, games and autumn activities in the woods. It is part of the charity’s Tall Tales & Seasonal Stories series and is designed for children aged 4 and over and their grown-ups.

The charity describes the morning as “a fun way to celebrate Halloween while spending time outdoors”. Its event page puts it more directly: “Celebrate the wonders of autumn and get spooky this Halloween!”, promising that children “and their parents and grandparents will enjoy interactive seasonal storytelling”, then “carve their own pumpkins and enjoy some Halloween fun!”
